300\u00b0F (150\u00b0C).<br \/><strong>Step 2<\/strong><br \/>In a saucepan, heat the liquid cream with the split vanilla pod. Fill the ramekins to about 3\/4 of their height.<br \/><strong>Step 7<br \/><\/strong>Place the dish filled with ramekins in the preheated oven and pour hot water into the dish up to halfway up the ramekins to create a bain-marie.<br \/><strong>Step 8<\/strong><br \/>Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until set but still slightly quivering in the center.<br \/><strong>Step 9<\/strong><br \/>Remove the ramekins from the bain-marie and leave to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or even overnight, to ensure they are cold and firm.<br \/><strong>Step 10<\/strong><br \/>Before serving, generously dust the surface of each cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e with powdered sugar.
