Malagasy turmeric (Curcuma)
Malagasy turmeric is known for its subtlety ; its aroma has a light peppery quality and its colour is a deep yellow.
This spice will brighten up your dishes with its colour. Further, it can remove some of the acidity in sauces and foods (like tomato based concoctions). This spice blends wonderfully with all vegetables, poultry and white fish.
In addition to all of this, turmeric is most well known for its therapeutic properties, namely its anti-inflammatory quality, as well as for its aid with digestion.
